So yesterday we started at 5am so we could make it to Home Depot in right when they rolled up those doors. We didn't quite make it to see but pretty close. Yes, some HD's open at 530. Holy Smokes! We wanted to get the truck that you can rent for cheaper than having it all delivered, you know do it yourself for less. So we get everything we need including 200 stones to build the wall. When the forklift driver tries to load the pallet an alarm started going off to notify us that it was too heavy. We were forewarned about this feature on the truck and that we may be able to rearrange the stones to balance the load. We want to see how many of these 22.4 pound stones a Jetta VW can carry, so we bring Mom's car around. Less than 400 lbs later the Jetta is riding low just like the song and Mom is looking pretty worried. We try putting the pallet onto the truck again with no luck of not hearing the alarm. The driver of the fork lift tells us the truck can only hold 3000 lbs so we give up on the Jetta not wanting to load it with 1754 lbs of stone and five bags of sand. We go back inside and request a delivery which will come the following day and go back home. We went home and I got one of the trenches dug so I can start the wall when the bricks arrive. Oooh, look how level. The video shows how hard the dirt is to dig when you only have a hoe. Then after I finished that one and had no more energy I laid on the living room floor. When Breck got home he offered an awesome hand and we dug out the other trench in about half an hour.
