Mini-Summer Vacation 3

This trip wouldn't really be considered a vacation because it was just a one day trip, but I'm going to blog about it anyway. We had been saying all summer that we wanted to go up to Leavenworth and we finally went last Saturday. After looking at some brochures, I found out they had a theater up there that was showing Kiss Me Kate. I knew we had to go when it was going on and we ended up going there the last weekend it was showing. It was really funny and quite enjoyable, so we recommend that anyone going to Leavenworth look up the plays there and go to one. Before the play we stopped to go hiking. Unfortunately, once we got there we found out the road had been flooded so we couldn't get to the hike we wanted. We tried one we had passed on the way and found out it was an overnight hiking trip for anyone that wanted to see something cool. We decided to turn around and sat by the river we crossed at the beginning of the hike. After that we headed into town to eat Bratwurst and to explore all of the little Bavarian shops. At the end of our trip we decided that all we had accomplished was spending lots of money on food, chocolate and a play. It was a fun trip though!
