Surprise!!!

So it was about a week before my birthday and Kristina notified me that she had a surprise event planned for us. I said awesome and started guessing at what it might be. Her response was consistently,"I don't know, maybe, maybe not." I ended up content that I wouldn't get anything out of her and decided to be surprised. That worked fine until the day before the trip I was reading the paper and saw a banner for a car show the next day. I thought to myself, "Oh no I blew it, now I know what the surprise is." That night I told Kristina that I was sorry but had figured out where we were going. She responded, "I don't know, maybe, maybe not." I was still confident we were going to the car show and very excited. The next morning when we got up and before we left Kristina came over to me and said, "Hubby, what if we aren't going to the car show, will you still be happy?" I eeked out a yes while my excitement faded into fear. Where was she taking me? What were we going to do? Shopping? "Oh no, please don't be taking me shopping," the thought went through my head!! The whole drive to our unknown destination was filled with questions: how long will your planned event last, where is it, is it close to the car show, do you have the car show address in the gps..."I don't know maybe, maybe not," she replied. Grrrr. She directed me and as I made the last left turn into the parking lot there was a huge sign that read,"LeMay Auto Show." What a beautiful sign that was. I honestly did not know until that point what we were going to do. I have to give my wife a lot of credit for this one. First for completely surprising me and two, for taking me somewhere that I know would not have been agreed upon if both of us were choosing. The show was amazing! Thank you Lovey. I love you!
