At the end of September, we decided to use some extra vacation days that Eric had accumulated and went on a trip to Whistler. Eric and I had been once in the winter time and loved the cute European town. We thought it would be a fun place to hang out with Mia and spend some time together. We had a really sunny day the first day and the rest of the time we were there was rainy. We brought lots of games and movies though, so we still had lots of fun. On the sunny day we went on a fun hike that brought us to a lake and explored around our hotel. On the rainy days we tried to get out and go on short walks, but usually ended up back at the hotel to jump in the hot tub because it was so cold. We ended up playing a lot of rounds of Settler of Catan, one of our favorite games ever! It was actually a really great trip and we loved being able to spend quality time with each other and with Mia.
