Another festival was for the Seafair Pirates landing in Seattle at Alki beach. We got there too late and missed the pirate activities, but we had a ton of fun at the beach with the girls. I bought them both matching outfits and when I went to get a shirt out for myself, I noticed that I had a matching shirt too. It definitely made for cute beach pictures! Mia discovered that she likes digging in the sand and kept digging and digging and digging. She still won't walk in it though. And even though she kept asking to go in the water, she never would put her toes in it...we'll have to work on that. :)
