As an early birthday present, Eric got me tickets to the Jack Johnson concert at the Gorge this past Saturday. It was my first concert and it was soooo much fun! I sang to every single song except one and all of our favorites were played. I was dancing in my seat the entire time and kept thinking that everyone surrounding us that was sitting perfectly straight for the whole time didn't look like they were having anywhere near as much fun. We set up our tent and camped for the night too. Unfortunately, I forgot to look at the campground rules and planned all our food as campfire meals. The number one rule was NO CAMPFIRES....oops. Luckily we were able to still use some of the stuff we brought for burgers to make sandwiches! Basically we woke up and packed up early Sunday morning, so we could get home and make the food we really had planned on eating when we were there. Minus that minor detail, we had a blast and we are already planning on finding another concert to attend at the Gorge next summer! Hopefully there will be some good bands again. The only thing that would have made it better, would have been having a group of friends to go with. Let us know if you're up for attending a concert with us next time! Sorry, but we have no pictures because we forgot to grab the camera. :( I guess our mental pictures will have to do.
