Dear Mia,
You are sooo excited for your Baby Sister to come. I can't wait for you girls to meet each other. Anytime we see a baby you keep pointing and saying baby. Randomly throughout the day, you will come up to me and pat my tummy or give your baby sister kisses. It's super cute watching you. You have been pretty patient with Mommy too. You still want to be held all of the time, but now my baby bump is getting too big and I have to tell you no sometimes. Hopefully Daddy holds you enough to make up for the times that I can't. Whenever I do hold you, you give me the longest hugs and hold on tight to prevent me from letting you go. It's super cute and shows me that you love me! Thanks for those moments! Your reaction in the first picture is priceless. I hope you have that same reaction when you actually get to see your baby sister for the first time.
You are going to be the best big sister! You have already been getting ready. I think I put in a previous post that you tried changing your dolls diaper a couple weeks ago. I started showing you some other things to help you get ready to be a big sister too. We swaddled your baby doll together and you couldn't take your eyes off her. When I handed you your doll all swaddled, you had the cutest smile and just kept asking me to show you over and over how to do it. Eventually, you tried to do it on your own and you did a pretty good job. I was impressed! I also showed you how to hold a baby nicely and how to feed her a bottle. You loved it! You especially loved it when I showed you how to change your doll's diaper. I can't wait to see you hold your sister and watch you learn how to help take care of her. Daddy loved this picture of you because you are already a master at multi-tasking. You were able to drink your milk at the same time you fed your doll some milk! You are such a smarty-pants!
We love you Mia! I can't wait to watch you and your sister grow up together. It's going to be so much fun hanging out with both of you.
