I Love You More!

Ever since we got married, Eric and I have had an ongoing battle on being the last one to say "I love you more."  Usually we catch each other adding more to the end of the statement and then discuss why we are or aren't allowed to say that.  Sometimes this includes adding "more" in white font to the end of the statement in an email and hoping the other won't notice, so we can tease them later about it.  Eric caught me doing that one because he said I never fail to add punctuation at the end of a sentence and since the punctuation was also white, he caught on and figured it out.

The other night after dinner, Eric was signing different baby language signs to Mia and waiting for her to respond by saying what it meant.  He started with more and milk and kept repeating more along with different food signs to try to get her to say more than one word at one time.  Then he switched to I. Love. You.  All on her own, she added "More" to the end of the statement and Eric kept going with more signs.  I caught on right away and started laughing really hard.  Eric didn't pick up on it until I explained it to him.  Maybe Eric and I will never win when competing with each other, but Mia sure did.  She is the official winner of "I Love You More!"  :)
