Eric loves all things car related. When I heard the Shelby Car Factory did free tours, we went to check it out. They had a ton of different models and went through and explained the history of the company. Mia, Ari and Daddy all picked their favorites to get a picture next to. Of course Mia chose a blue one and I'm sure Eric's favorite was the fastest one there. :)
We heard about a cool park downtown called Container Park and went to check it out. It was awesome! A lot of things about it reminded us of Seattle for some reason. They had huge slides that were fun for adults to go down. Some of them were a little steep for a pregnant woman, like myself, so I didn't go down too many, but Eric and the girls loved them! They also had all different building blocks to play with, so the girls made a little house and then big lego chairs. We brought a picnic lunch and the girls played on the chalk wall while we ate and even danced in front of the stage to the music that was playing. It was a great park with lots to do!
As we were headed out of Vegas, Eric noticed some super fast, fancy cars racing around the track along the freeway. We pulled off and watched them racing. It was an Exotic Race Car Driving Experience place. When some of the workers pulled up nearby where we were standing, they said we could go inside their building and take pictures of the girls in the cars and check them out. Eric was super excited! Mia and Ari got in all different cars: ferrari's, lamborgini's, audi's. Ari's favorite was a yellow and black one and Mia's favorite was an orange one (there were no blue ones :) ). Eric sat in quite a few too. Eric had been trying to find a drifting event the entire time we were there and never had any luck. That day, this race track just happened to have a professional drifter driving their exotic cars around. Eric thought it was awesome and loved watching it. It was a fun last minute outing to add to the end of our trip. Even though we have all girls, I think it's awesome they share their Daddy's passion for cars. As you can see in the photos, the girls were just as happy as their Daddy!
